Cashed Out My Ibotta Account

February 16th, 2018 at 02:55 pm

I cashed out my Ibotta account last night. The funds were immediately transferred to my PayPal account. Just this morning I moved those funds to savings, not sure why I waited! I was able to cash out $41.38.

I also had proceeds from an item I sold on eBay yesterday as well, so I transferred those to savings. In total I added $49.56 to our Big Goal funds.

It does take awhile for Ibotta coupon savings to add up and you need a $20 balance to withdraw, but I find it easier than cutting or printing coupons. If you are interested in saving this way, you can sign up under me

    Hey, CCF!

I used the link in a previous post and signed up. Except, two days ago, the site claimed to have issues and wouldn't work at all. I did get in yesterday and used it for my Kroger shopping and earned $3.50. I figure anything I get is more than what I had, right? Hopefully I will do as well as you have.

Thanks for using my link rob! I think I did get a small referral fee from you, although it doesn't tell me who. I've had some trouble at times with the app, usually it helps to make sure it is up to date. That's how I look at it too, anything is better than what I had. Sometimes I only get $0.25 but it does add up eventually.

Very nice savings! I usually cash out for whenever I have enough for a $20 gift card.

Yes, I'm not sure exactly why I waited for $40, but it does feel good to cash in a large amount.

what is an Ibotta account? My goal this year is to decrease expenses and increase income. The income bit is harder for me, so I am trying to find some good sources for money coming in.

Gailete, Ibotta is an app where you pick offers (like a coupon really) to redeem for a rebate. After you shop you take a picture of your receipt (usually a series of pictures since they are long) and claim the offers, then cash is deposited in your Ibotta account which you can redeem for cash through Paypal or choose a gift card. Checkout 51 is another one that is similar.

Okay thanks. Do you have referral links for either of those?
