Lower JULY Electric Bill

It's been so mild most of July that we are barely running the air conditioner. We still are running it because of allergies, but we stay pretty comfortable with fans and keeping the temperature a semi high level.

This month's electric bill is $19 LOWER than June. Now the bill is still $121, but we are cooling a 2500 square foot home, watching tv, using the dryer and dishwasher and spending time on the computer.

Were any of your utilities lower than last month? Were you expecting a lower bill or were you surprised?

    My gas and electric were both about half of June but that was because I was house sitting or on vacation for most of the month of July. I only spent three nights at home

    Mine were comparable. A/C makes a lot of difference though. So, if you are using it less, your bill will be less too. I'm glad you have mild weather. It is pretty hot where I am.
