Money Flows In

February 26th, 2013 at 03:14 pm

Money is flowing in here. I see that the $442 tax refund is pending in our account for a firm deposit tomorrow.

I received two rebates in the mail yesterday. One for $7.19, which I will put in the Christmas Fund. The other for $2.41. That one is a Menard's rebate, which you have to spend at their store. When I use it to buy something we need, I will add that amount to the fund as well.

I did end up accumulating enough

Swagbucks yesterday to redeem for another $25 Paypal deposit. It has been a good month on Swagbucks.

Do you have money flowing in today?

i have a swagsbuck question - what do you do with the $25 paypal deposit? is it like cash that you can use how you want or transfer into an account or do you need to spend it on a product/service - is it like a gift card or cash? also, when you do the surveys, do you use your regular email account or have you set up a "survey specific" email account? does doing the surveys generate a lot of junk email? thanks!!

@starfishy, Paypal is a basically a bank account. So, yes, I can transfer the money to my checking account and do anything I want with it. It is cash. I have debit card connected with my Paypal account, so I could also withdrawal it, or spend it that way too.

I used to have separate survey email account, but it was too cumbersome (for me) to switch back and forth. I would suggest separate email to begin if you have any concerns. I use my main email account for everything. I do delete the junk that arrives...and usually unsubscribe to those offers as they arrive. I personally don't think surveys through Swagbucks generate much email, if any really.

    I hope that helps!

I wish some money was flowing in. I've been waiting on a Swagbucks payment this week but it hasn't showed up yet.

I'm sitting on about 1200 Swagbucks. I considered cashing in for two WalMart cards but I decided to just wait until next month and do the 450SB Amazon cards.

I did well on Swagbucks yesterday too. I was in half the day grading papers and kept checking in. Nice job!

I'm a few SBs away from my last $5 amazon GC for February. That will bring me up to $55 through 2 months. I'll take it!
