Ebates, Pinecone, Swagbucks

February 18th, 2013 at 03:00 pm

I didn't end up getting my ebates payout on February 15, because I didn't meet the minimum redemption of $5.01. I'm at $3.28. My next opportunity to receive this money is May 15. I just need to remember to use the site for any online purchases.

I did a survey Friday for Pinecone. I expect to receive my $3 Paypal deposit today. I try to hold the money in my Paypal account until the end of the month, when I redeem all deposits in there and move them to our checking account in a lump sum.

I have over 600

Swagbucks in my account. I'm going to try to get to 2500 by months end. I might not make it, but it is a goal. That will equal $25 in Paypal cash. If I don't I will have Swagbucks ready for the beginning of the month to redeem for the $5 Amazon gift cards, which are 450 Swagbucks each.

I'm taking a road trip today back to our old town. My daughter has an orthodontist appointment. For now it is worth it to go back once a year to have her retainers checked. I've already paid the orthodontist for the visits, so might as well. It will cost some gas though.

It was a bit of a spendy weekend. I bought a large bag of cat food, flute music, groceries, and a new rechargeable toothbrush for my husband (it was on clearance). All of that was around $200. It seems sometimes money flows out rather quickly, luckily not all of the time.

Have a super Monday!

Can you transfer the Paypal cash from SB to your checking account? If so, that's a good deal. I never realized you could do it. I hate going for anything other than the $5 Amazon cards because they're the best value, but cash is cash...

@mjrube94, You can NOT go directly from Swagbucks to checking. I redeem Swagbucks for a Paypal e-deposit and then move the money from my Paypal account to my checking account. It is cash!!

As expensive as orthodontist visits are, you can probably validate your trip for not only the visit, but also going down a bit of memory lane.

You are quite the "saver" with the ebates, pinecones and swagbucks and I admire you.

Why don't you just make your purchases on Swagbucks? There are no restrictions on cashing out at Swagbucks and you get to your goal faster with bonus points.

How do you like Pinecone? I've been doing surveys on swagbucks mostly because I'm lazy to sign up for other services.

I'm saving cash to give as gifts for Christmas, so cashing out necessary. You are right I could use Swagbucks for purchases rather than Ebates, if the retailer is available. I know the first purchase I made with Ebates was a lighting company, that was not available at Swagbucks at the time. It is always good to shop around...even for cash back/points for purchases.

Pinecone pays for surveys at $3. You are never disqualified and are always paid cash. A better deal than the Swagbucks surveys...but of course, I take those too.
