Used A Reward On Truck Loan

Our debit card rewards have amounted to $100 this year. I redeemed them a couple days ago to be deposited in our checking account. Today, I sent that $100 to our truck loan!!

The new balance is $6,888.95. Our next regular payment is just 11 days away, so the balance will be going down again. It's nice to keep making progress.

What are you making progress on? Anything financial? You do have goals right? I'd love to hear!

    Indeed, as you probably already know, we are making progress on our Auto Loan as well. It has been 11 months and we (mainly me! Haha) are tired of paying it already! It started at $14,300 and it is down to $8,375. Hope to have it paid off by June 2013! Hmmm, a 48 month loan paid off in 18 months...that would be great by me! It would be $3,800 less, but that money went to some more window replacements in the house (the most expensive order and second to last order at that).

    It is all about balance and keeping the peace with wants vs. needs.

    As you know, we are working on our auto loans....$2000 to go on the SUV and $7500 on DH's....

    My main goal was to pay off as much CC debt as possible, but for a specific goal I wanted to end the year with the mortgage under $15K, which I am right on track for.

    I converted my rewards for $100 as well and mine is going to the mortgage!
