Redeemed MyPoints for Gift Cards

I'm thinking about Christmas already. I decided to pull the trigger and order two different gift cards using the points I've accumulated thus far with MyPoints.

I redeemed 3700 points for a $25 Red Robin gift card and another 1700 points for a $10 BP gift card. Both should arrive in the mail in 4-6 weeks. If I remember correctly, they usually arrive much sooner.

I will add these to my Christmas Fund. I already know who the lucky recipients are. Nice planning if I do say so myself!

I still have another 200 some points and if i accumulate enough for another gift card then good for me. Anyone else a MyPoints member? Have you redeemed anything recently or racked up a huge amount of points?

    With 120 days you're ahead of the curve. Since we have a family tradition of making gifts, thanks for jolting my thinking. By September I need to look at possible projects. We seem to draw names the 1st week of October [Canadian Thanksgiving}and I need ideas. What do you wish for? Do you have long, cowl knit scarves? Will they be popular? I found new, never used, revolving spice racks on clearance and bought several @ $ 5. ea. Was considering making up spice mixes for adventurous family/friends with Cajun, Cuban, French Provencal, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Spanish dishes. Less adventurous Chicken, Pork, BBQ rubs. Chili, Sloppy Joe, Spaghetti, Stew

    Where did summer fly? Yikes!

    snafu, I'd love a hand knit scarf, or any of those spices! My brother in law talked about making homemade vanilla last year...I hope he does it this year. I'm always grateful for something useful, homemade or otherwise.

    DH bought some vodka and vanilla bean strips at Costco when I MENTIONED making vanilla last year. I saved cool bottles from italian soda with stoppers and soaked off the labels. Now I just need to do it! I wonder if the vanilla beans are still good? I wonder if the vodka is unopened??? Thanks for reminding me!

    I recently got back into My Points after a start at the beginning of the year. I have now accumlated 3700 points! I think that is the most I have ever had. I have a bunch of surveys to take but I never seem to qualify. I did however qualify for one last weekend...I was very surprised, but will take the points for trying!

    I have enough for a $25 AGC, but am saving towards a $50 one - maybe by December I'll be there. (I redeemed a $50 one in February I think ..)

    I should order some MyPoints rewards. They seem to take forever for me!
