Found Twenty Dollars

My husband did some yard work this weekend and found a $20 bill. It was stuck under some rocks and dirt. It did rip a bit as he pulled it out, but it is basically intact. I just washed off the dirt and let it dry.

Of course, this is another snowflake towards our Christmas fund! Clearly free money. Smile

Have you ever found a $20 bill or another large denomination of cash?

    I found a $10 bill last week and thought it was amazing. I'm really impressed by a $20!

    Once I found a $20 and once NT found $10. That's all I can think of. It's funny how they stick in my mind though!

    Found $40 at the drive-in (movies) a hundred years ago. ;-) Okay, it wasn't a hundred years ago, it feels like it sometimes, since they are a bit of a dinosaur, at least around here. But it was close to 30 years ago. :::::thud::::

    Believe it or not.....one time I had a roomate that found $1000 just laying in a parking lot at a 3Js gas station. She was going to joke around with me cause when she picked it up she first thought it was play money. When she took it into the bathroom to show me it was 10 $100 dollar bills. We did go to the cashier and told him we found it but no one ever came to claim it. Looking back I would assume it was probably drug money or something cause you would think someone would come back for that kind of cash

    Of course my roomate and I were young and moving into a new apt and just went wild with the money furnishing our new apt.

    @twest, wow that is quite a haul of cash to find. Amazing that someone didn't claim it! I know I would if I lost that much cash.

    Last year I did find a $20 bill. This year few bills, but a LOT of quarters. Last year I found $89.66, this year $89.30. Rock on CCF!
