It looks like we will get to file our taxes for free this year. Even state taxes! I went to the
IRS site first. We are eligible to file our federal return free with many of the sites there. But I didn't see the state listed. So I went to our state revenue office and found TurboTax Freedom addition that will allow us to file both federal and state return for free. Happy!I have entered nearly everything in, except our main W-2 and a 1099-INT form. I hope to have those by the end of the week!
It will be nice to get that fat refund in my hands, so I can complete our Roth IRA contributions for 2011.
