Lower Van Balance!!

I made a large principal payment of $1450 towards our van loan today. The new balance is now below $7K!!

New Balance: $6740

It feels really good to be getting the balance down this low. I must admit I'm a little bit behind based on my planning, but life gets in the way sometimes. I'll take what we have been able to accomplish because it is still fantastic!!

Are you staying focused on your goals even despite setbacks? Only two more months of 2010! What can you accomplish?

    We met our cash savings in the bank goal and went a little nuts this month. Time to get back on track for us, especially with me not working anymore for a while, if ever.

    You're doing great! I originally wanted to finish off my CC debt by the end of 2009, but I had to extend the goal by nearly a year. As long as you're making progress, the exact timing isn't that important.

    We're on track to finish up our 2010 goals this month. We did really great this year. My only self-criticism is that we got so much extra income and other windfalls, and I used a lot of it for semi-frivolous things, when I could have put so much more toward debt or into retirement savings. But other than that I'm proud of my financial behavior this year!

    I'm trying to complete my goals. One I know I definetly won't accomplish is to clear my catalogue debt: I actually added to it this year Frown
