$10 AND 10K

Good news!

I received $10 in the mail today from mysurvey.com. I'm popping that money in the second checking account. It needs a little cushion.

The DOW ended up over 10,000 for the first time in over a year. Experts don't seem to think it will stick in the long term. It was fun to watch. I was working in the mutual fund industry back in 1999 when it reached 10,000 for the first time ever. Pretty cool!

Tomorrow is payday...so I'll have a few financial updates!

    I don't know what to make of the 10k. It's largely a psychological thing, although I'm sure there are trader whom I'm sure are trading on that.

    Hopefully, the economy will turn around fast enough to make that 10k stick. Big Grin

    I got a big kick out of it too! Like watching a hot air balloon go by.... oooohhhh, loooookkkk, pretttyyyy! 10,000, I remember that number from the old days!!
