Are You Snowballing?

January 29th, 2009 at 03:41 pm

I noticed on campfrugals side bar a link to a site called whatsthecost.com. It has a place to calculate and save, if you so desire, a payoff for your debts. It's a snowball calculator.

I input some of my numbers for our home equity loan and our van loan. We owe over $24K on the van that we bought in May. But if we snowball our payments we could have both loans paid off by July 2010! Wow! That's about all I can say. Wow!

Check it out

Text is here. and Link is http://www.whatsthecost.com/snowball.aspx
here.

We have snowballed in the past, and it does work. The calculator just makes it more fun! Fun, really fun!! I'm going to go play with it some more. Smile

I did snowball back in the day when we had lots of cc debt and car payments. It works.

Yes I am it works excellent it keeps you motivated as you see yourself attacking the debt. I still have a ways to go but have come a long way thanks to the snowball. I'm so motivated on the 15th of each month knowing that each month i've paid something off. Throught the snowball plan I paid of $10,547 last year alone.

I only have one credit card to pay off so I'm not sure that you can snowball that.

I had used this calculator a year or so ago, then couldn't remember what site it was from ... so I'm so glad to know where it is again! This thing rocks!! Smile
