Taxes Filed - Check

January 27th, 2009 at 02:41 pm

Yes!!! I'm done...early again this year. It sure helped to enter all the information as I received it. Little pieces of information at a time, rather than one long day of it.

Last night, I double checked the return, electronically signed, printed copies, paid the small fee for state and hit the submit button. Quick!

Today, I checked my email and the federal return has already been accepted. The email states I should have the refund next Friday, February 6th.

The final refund results are
Federal: $610
State: $1350
Total:$1960

The plan is to use it towards home equity loan payoff. I will, of course, report that here when it happens.

Good luck filing your tax return!

I'm done as well my state was accepted last tuesday and it was direct deposited into my account last night. Yahoo I was debating whether to apply it all to debt or hold on a little with the ecomony so bad just in case my job goes what do you think.

smiley, I would only hold on to the cash if you don't already have an emergency fund, or you have a high possibility of losing your job. Otherwise, I'd pay off that debt!! Your return was deposited quick...always love that.

Good for you - I am itching to send it off, but TaxCut is waiting for another revision to the form, so I can't file electronically until the 29th! Totall sucks as I am waiting for $4,200 in federal alone!

Wow, that's fast! I don't even have my W-2's yet.

The army had our W2 online last Friday. The banks had our 1099's online and ready to go last week, too. I love that!

I'm still waiting on a W-2 and a couple 1099's before I can file. I'm not in a big hurry to do so, since I'm pretty sure I'm going to owe at least a couple hundred. Smile
