Tempted to Buy

I've been trying not to spend this week on extras. So far so good. Until, I get the mail and find a catalog for Smith Noble, a blind and window treatment company.

I really need...maybe want a new blind for our front window in our living room. I browse the catalog. I start searching online for better deals. I even measure my window. I can justify it as a need, because when we go to sell this house it will look sooo much better than the crazy three uneven shades that came with the house and that we still use. They filter light but do not provide any privacy in the evenings.

I still haven't purchased it yet...I'm so tempted. It is $140, which includes shipping for a 85" x 54" faux oak wood blind. I want to enjoy it, while I'm here...not just to sell the house when it comes time.

I haven't bought it yet, but I'm so tempted!!

    They look nice but shop around first you may find some less expensive

    If you have an IKEA near you, I think they may have something similar.

    Try blinds.com. Order a sample and you get a 10% off coupon and they are always free fed-ex shipping. I love mine. I did my entire house for less than $1000 and that was 16 windows, some where huge!

    I've been looking and researching. With this large of a window, it has to be custom made. I will look at blinds.com. Unfortunately, I've been sheltered...I've never been to an IKEA store and there isn't one here!

    I have the money, just trying not to spend it on extra things, but DH didn't seem to have a problem with it. I will hold off for awhile.

    All at blinds.com are custom made. You measure and order the exact size you need.
