Budget Payment for Energy

We have our gas and electricity billed together. I just checked our bill for this next month and received great news!

First, we have a $200 credit going into winter. Second, they are lowering our monthly budget payment by $39/mo! I'm thrilled.

I hope to put this money towards that pesky home equity loan starting in November.

    Everyone keeps asking why I/we aren't on a/the budget plan. Unfortunately, I need the extra money (both electric and gas are much lower in the summer) to pay for the lawn service. And no, I don't cut grass. A- I have allergies, 2- I *only* pay $25/weekly and C- I don't own a mower.

    And as said earlier, $25 is worth my sanity! ;-)
