I mentioned a selling challenge in a post in the last couple weeks. It seems several people are interested. I have yet to sell anything, but I'm definitely going to challenge myself for the remainder of the year to see how much I can sell of our own stuff. I also hope to get at least one item listed on Ebay this weekend!

I like to think there are no rules, but here are some guidelines:

1)Sell your items for cash.

2)Sell the items by any preferred method, garage sale, ebay, craigslist or other.

3)Track your profits (and gross sales if desired).

4)Write a blog post about your sales at least once per month, some of us may write more often, but once a month should be the minimum to keep the momentum of the challenge going.

I think people like to hear about what you are selling, so that can be shared, as well as what your plan for the money is. I also like to know about profits over gross sales personally, since that is the money you get to keep! If you are selling something you bought for a profit, I would specify that as well.
