Discharging your Debt

Settling your debt for pennies on the dollar can have tax implications. Check out this article from Bankrate.com.

I have never had a debt that we couldn't pay in full, so I don't know what it feel like to have to make a decision to pay less than half. However, I feel it is important to have all the information. I hope this can help someone!!

    Thanks for the reminder! I have also never had to settle, but knew this fact anyways. But I had forgotten it.
