No More Meds!

I have decided to stop some medication I'm taking with the consent of my doctor. I'm thrilled, since there have been a few unpleasant side effects.

Savings: $22/month

Just so you know and don't worry...this was entirely a health decision, not a financial one! The savings are just a bonus. I hope to pass this on to that home equity loan payoff!!

I took my mother out to lunch yesterday for a wonderful mediterranean meal. We spent $28. Yummy!! She treated me to a new organic cotton shirt from the Life is Good line. It will be a great shirt for spring. I will wear it today since it will be about 70 degrees!

    Congrats on getting off the meds! Anytime you can do that it is always a better choice!

    I would talk to your doctor or a pharmacist BEFORE stopping your medication. I don't know what medication you are on, or what condition it is for, but it can be dangerous to stop taking medication, especially stopping some abruptly. The doctor or pharmacist may also be able to recommend medication that has fewer side effects.

    I would think heavily about this. Your health and life are more important than $22 a month.

    Thanks for your concern! I visited my doctor two days ago and he has advised me on how to stop this particular medication. It will take a few weeks to get off. Wise advise for others. Thanks again for your concern.
