In order not to spend

In order not to spend this week, I am going to give myself some projects to work on. These are normal things to get done...but I really need to stay off the computer and out of the stores.

1) Workout everyday at the gym (M-F)
2) Clean out kitchen cupboards
3) Clean microwave
4) Clean kitchen blinds
5) Clean bathrooms
6) Whiten dishtowels and washcloths
7) Write thank you notes
8) Weed out magazines
9) Paint laundry room (?)

Just some ideas! Today, I went through the file cabinet in my desk and found lots of paper to shred and recycle.

The kids are back in school, so I need to keep myself busy in a new way this week. Wish me luck!

    Sounds good! I have painting on my "to do" list, too. And writing thank you notes.

    I made a list today of projects I wanted to get done, but I didn't get through everything. I only work a partial day tomorrow, so I will have an hour or two free and I plan to use it wisely.

    I'm repainting my office and my laundry room. The rule is I have to use the paint I already own. Luckily, I have dozens of partial gallons of all shades to choose from...

    Trift...me too! The paint I will use for the laundry room is leftover from other areas in the house.

    I am working on getting on the flylady schedule and cleaning out and cleaning up my apartment in preparation to move.

    Your projects sound great! My project this week is cleaning my bedroom. Aside from our basement it is the only room that didn't get cleaned well for our recent party. Good luck to you, let us know how things turn out~

    I am getting all of my tax records in order. Also, need to do a will this year. I'm trying to take one resolution at a time and work on it each month.
