I'm the wife of a full time Army Reserve Captain and SAHM to daughters ages 12 and 9. I'm 37 and DH is 40.

We started our marriage 13 years ago with over $10K in credit card debt from a failed business venture. We paid it off as quick as we could with the goal of purchasing our first home. We did this within 15 months of getting married. Now it is time to watch us pay off our home equity loan!!

Let the Sales Begin!!!

I have 8 items ready to start on ebay this evening. Two are new with tags! Most of the items are children's holiday dress wear...perfect timing, huh?

If I sell all items I will gross a minimum of $36.60. I'm starting most of them pretty low, hoping for some hot bidding wars! I'll let you know how I do in a little over a week.

I expect this to be some of my last sales for 2008. Did you know I have grossed over $1000 on ebay this year? I only sold things we have around the house and no longer need. Just think what you could do with a grand! If you didn't alreay have one, you could have a baby emergency funded by this time next year...or sooner if you have lots of stuff!! Start that pile, today!

I have never tried Ebay. Maybe I need to though. DH sells a lot of electronic/computer stuff on it but he uses that money for his truck. (aka large toy)

That is pretty good. When I quit teaching a few years ago, I sold most of my teacher resource books on Ebay and netted around $700. I'd paid a lot more than that over 8 years of teaching for them . . . but I just hope that I helped out some newbie teacher get resources on the cheap.

Great job! It's always inspiring hearing of people making money just getting rid of unwanted items and clutter. It's a good motivator for me to start going through my ever growing pile and start listing things!
