Need a $75 Snowflake?

Capital One is offering bonuses when you

open 360 Checking and/or Savings account. Think of these bonuses as snowflakes to put towards your goals!!

You can get $50 for opening a checking account and making two debit card transactions. There is no minimum deposit and you have 45 days to complete the requirements. The bonus is awarded on day 50.

A $25 bonus is available when you open a savings account with a minimum of $250. The bonus is awarded right after the deposit is received, however it is not available for withdrawal for 30 days.

    Thank you for sharing! I was looking for ways to make extra flakes without doing the credit card thing (since we're doing life with cash). I will set one up for me, one up for DH. Smile And I won't have to open an account with Citibank or Chase and deal with direct deposits!

    You are welcome! These types of deals are definitely worth it if you don't want to go the credit card route. And I too like that there is no direct deposits. I keep my Christmas savings in there to earn a little interest!

    thanks for this info. i quickly glanced at it, but couldn't figure out if you need to buy any checks for the checking account. do you happen to know? or can it just be used with a debit card and no physical checks? thanks!

    @starfishy, checks are NOT a required purchase and are not needed to complete the requirements for the bonus. I have the checking and do no have checks. I"m sure they are available if needed.
