Overdrawn

October 29th, 2010 at 04:02 pm

I spent too much out of my checking account this month by $40. I'm not sure how it happened, yet. Likely, I forgot to record something and then spent money I didn't have! This NEVER happens to me. I'm so diligent with recording and know what is available to spend. Apparently not this time.

I have been doing a lot of buying for this evenings Halloween party...so I'm guess the error is there somewhere. I will investigate when party festivies are over.

Boo!!

Maybe my bad luck has rubbed off on you Frown
Are you hosting the party? If you are, good luck!

Oh man, that stinks! Hopefully since this is a one-time occurrence, the bank may reverse some of the fees.

Luckily no fees. The bank just pulled the amount needed from a second account that is linked at the same back. It was only about $40.

That's good! (I saw that you didn't have any fees after I'd commented.) Big Grin

I almost overdrafted Monday. I just caught it and so transferred some money over. Unlike me, but my CU only charges $3 for overdraft, so no biggie. Just glad I caught it!

I had some bill due 10/1, and probably figured I'd work it out, but then ignored my bank balance for a couple of weeks. Doh! Payday is Monday.

    Meant bill due 11/1!
