It's Official....

April 29th, 2009 at 04:46 pm

Our mortgage is now with Bank of America. No, we didn't refinance. But our mortgage is held with Countrywide Financial who was bought by BoA awhile bank.

Two days ago I received our welcome letter in the mail. Wow! I'm so excited.

Not really. I could care less who holds my mortgage as long as they provide me the customer service I need in an accurate and timely manner. Our payment is automatic, so all should continue normally.

Here's fingers crossed that they don't mess anything up!!

We're with Countrywide. I haven't gotten anything from BoA yet saying they've switched. I guess it will be coming soon.

I like BOA's online banking. Sign up for as soon as you can. It really keeps on top of things and is quite easy to navigate.

We have mortgages w/ Countrywide, too, and noticed the old website is now B of A when I went online a few days ago to schedule the May payments. To date, I have not gotten a letter...

Good luck with BofA. I have not had direct experiences with them, but my mom sure had a terrible time with them regarding a power of attorney account.
