A little slow around here

The blogs, I mean. It just doesn't seem that too many of us are around. It's probably the wonderful weather we are starting to have because of spring.

I've started working on a project that I started in the fall. I'm refinishing a small dresser. The fall work consisted of stripping the stain off. Recently, I added wood putty to some areas, sanded and primed.

Today, I started painting the drawers a nice black!! I hope to complete this project by the end of the week. I'll post some pictures then.

I've had to buy two cans of stripper, a stripping brush, wood putty, sandpaper and the black paint. I had the primer and brushes! It's not exactly a inexpensive project, but it feels like it when done over time.

    The 16th through the 27th is a dull period for my blog every month, because there are no bills due and no paychecks coming in. The 2nd through the 14th is usually pretty dull, too; come to think of it, most of the excitement revolves around the two payday periods, the 1st and the 15th. LOL. I still read people's blogs pretty much every day.

    I should write more about non-financial things, but I just don't think to very often, since I started my blog for such a specific purpose.

    I have noticed the same thing. I have been in the dumps and haven't felt like blogging...but getting back in the routine!

    I had to stop for a few days just because I was so bummed about the taxes and did not want to constantly complain. I still read everyone's blogs, even tho I dont blog everyday myself.
